Ryan

A quiet fifth-grader who gets along better with animals than with other kids. Clever with words and tries to sound like he knows everything, even when he doesn’t.

Likes: dessert, computers, hikes, vacations, word jokes, dogs.

Dislikes: homework, chores, work, bullies.

Violet

Ryan’s yellow labrador dog. High energy and constantly looking for food. She protects her pride carefully and is dissatisfied with her inferior status, but is kind at heart and would rush to defend her family if something ever threatened them.

Likes: food, Ryan, things to chew on, running, more food.

Dislikes: baths, boredom, the vet, loud noises, electronics that distract humans.
